Family Life

We are proud to call Cedar Park, Texas our home. We frequent Brushy Creek Regional Trail, have made friends at the Cedar Bark Park and we are avid supporters of the local shops, restaurants and businesses that provide the character of our community. We are also happy to have experienced and lived in number of great cities including Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia and Las Vegas, Nevada.

We share an immigrant story with many of our neighbors. I was born a US Citizen outside the United States and relocated permanently to this Great Country at my first opportunity. My wife, Joanna, was born and raised in Central Europe before her family made the hard journey seeking a better life on this continent escaping the grasps of communism. Our son, Christopher, is the first in our nuclear family to be born on American soil (he is a Georgia peach).

Life and careers took us in many directions, but when our family had an opportunity to make a choice, there was no doubt or hesitation, we were all resolved to root in Central Texas. Like many of the families in our community, we are enriched by a diversity of past experiences, while deeply appreciating and embracing the traditions and values of our Texas home.

Joanna and I have been happily married for twenty-five wonderful years (but we don’t keep count). Our son, Christopher, attends the University of Texas at Dallas. Joanna keeps us all active in the local rescue dog community and we have a busy house full of rescues, fosters, and foster fails.
